Camp Kitchen and Shuttle

 

I jumped in to assist where needed, but concept kitchen revealed at Overland West was primarily designed by Zab Steenwyk, engineered by Arthur Bledsoe and built by a wonderful fabrication team in Michigan. 

 

After the warm reception of the concept kitchen, I was invited to lead the design efforts along side a dedicated team of people that made the next phase possible. 

 

Our challenge was to figure out how to break the kitchen up into bite sized pieces. Building on the foundation of the shuttle, each module needed to be maneuverable for transportation and storage, yet still come back together to work harmoniously as one unit with as little effort as possible. It took us many iterations and several years to get to the product visualized here, which is where my time on the project concluded. It was an honor to hold the torch for as long as I did. The journey will not be forgotten :)
